Plantation Island Resort is nestled on Malolo Lailai Island in Fiji’s beautiful Mamanuca Islands, just 16 kilometres offshore from Nadi.
The resort is surrounded by tropical gardens, coconut palms, white sandy beaches and the calm waters of a sheltered lagoon. Its family-friendly setting makes Plantation Island Resort particularly well suited to destination weddings where couples want to celebrate and holiday with their family and friends.

GETTING LEGALLY MARRIED IN FIJI
Allow time to obtain your Fiji marriage licence
Before the wedding, the couple must visit the Marriage Registry Office in Nadi or Lautoka to submit an application and collect the special licence required to marry in Fiji.
You must bring the original copies of all required documents. Plantation Island Resort recommends allowing at least one full day in Nadi at the beginning of your holiday to complete this process.
The registry offices generally open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday. They are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Fijian public holidays. Opening hours and legal requirements should be reconfirmed before travel.
Couples travelling from countries other than Australia and New Zealand must pay an additional FJD $350 for a marriage certificate with an official Apostille Seal recognised in their home country.

Plantation Island wedding package conditions
These wedding packages are available from 1 April 2026 until 31 March 2027, subject to availability and the resort’s full terms and conditions.
Vakamau Inclusive pricing is based on a minimum of 20 adults. All Inclusive and Deluxe Inclusive pricing is based on a minimum of 30 adults. Additional-adult charges apply.
The advertised Australian dollar prices have been converted from the resort’s Fiji-dollar sell rates. Prices may change because of currency movements, supplier increases, taxes or other applicable charges.
A non-refundable FJD $500 deposit is required to confirm the requested wedding date. Payment of 50% of the total wedding cost is required 60 days before the wedding, with full payment required 45 days before the wedding.
Cancellations made within 60 days of the wedding date incur a charge of 50% of the total wedding cost. Cancellations made within 45 days of the wedding date receive no refund.
Mainland photographers and suppliers required after 3:30 pm may be unable to catch the final ferry departing Plantation Island Resort at 4:00 pm. Accommodation, dinner and breakfast must then be arranged for the supplier at an additional cost.
